ABOUT

Growing up in the country allowed me time to observe nature and really appreciate the beauty of the details. Since I was young, I have experimented with photographing outdoors. At the time, I had no idea that making photographs with the Polaroid camera that I'd sneak from my mother would turn into the inspiration for my art. The work I produce now is an extension of that little girl's playtime activity.

Featured on my site is an album called "Otherwise Overlooked". Otherwise Overlooked was created for my graduation pieces from The Art Institute of Charlotte. I hope to one day become a Forensic Photographer which inspired the photographs in Otherwise Overlooked. I explore and examine in order to produce beautiful images that share this vision. The process of making such photographs forces me to slow down and take time to notice the things that might otherwise be overlooked.
